Purified Water Storage Tanks

Purified Water Storage Tanks are generally used on pharmaceutical and cosmetic production lines for the storage of purified water, sterile and non-sterile solutions.  The storage tanks in these applications need to be easy to clean and long-lasting able to include additional fittings such as sampling or racking ports and total drain ability of the process tank.

What Purified Water Is used For

Clean mains water often is not clean enough for application in pharmaceutical production lines.  One of the main concerns when storing water is the degradation of water quality over time and our conical process tanks are designed with the ability to fully drain and provision of fittings and flanges for filters for the effective protection against airborne contaminants.  Purified water is used in lab applications including glassware rinsing, microbiological media preparation, buffer preparation, equipment feed lines and chemical and biochemical reagents.

Full Drain, CIP & Sample Points

Our tanks are available with provision for CIP equipment with the fitting of sockets and flanges. Available with a range of cones from shallow 5-degree slopes to 45-degree cones provide capacities from 250 litres to 30,000 litres to remove contamination risk of liquid left in the tank and welded fittings remove gaskets within the tanks which can harbour germs.  Our conical tanks are available with sample take-off or racking points either as plastic sockets or flanges.
