What are Polypropylene Storage Tanks? Polypropylene, also known as PP, is a thermoplastic polymer used in a wide variety of applications such as the manufacture of water storage tanks. Polypropylene Tanks are ideal where high-temperature liquids need to be stored or processed. Within the chemical and water treatment sectors, in particular, there is an increased demand for the storage of more aggressive chemicals, ranging in temperature from ambient up to 80°C for water (please contact us regarding other chemicals) and it is accepted that conventional polyethene tanks are not suitable to meet this new challenge.

In the past, expensive steel tanks or costly layered plastic tanks were the only options but now, with the introduction of Polypropylene Tanks, otherwise known as PP tanks, are a more cost-effective solution.  Our Polypropylene (PP) water tanks are available in both standard vertical and cone type tanks. With sizes ranging from 150 litres to 30,000 litres and beyond. If you require something that isn’t within our standard range, we offer bespoke chemical tanks where we tailor the tanks to fit your individual requirements.

What can our polypropylene tanks be used for?

Enduramaxx polypropylene tanks are used extensively in the clean water, wastewater, effluent treatment, food processing, swimming pool, chemical and pharma industries for storage as well as mixing tanks.  Polypropylene is the hardest and stiffest polyolefine and corresponds to the recommendations and guideline for the production of consumer goods and the contact with food.  Polypropylene is rigid, odourless with high impact strength.  We can add welded flanges, couplings, bulkhead fittings, vents, powder shelves, ladders, and level sensors as part of customised additions. If you’re looking for a corrosive-resistant industrial tank, talk to one of our team today, call 01778 562810 to find out more.
